The LoveHowl is a Brooklyn based band bringing a bit of soul to Indie Rock. A project which developed from singer-songwriter Amy Sheehan's solo material the group has morphed into a gutsy rock act. NY native drummer Jonathan Vergara joined Amy and lead guitar player Alex Sherba on the recording of Sheehan's pop-rock EP Insane Concoction in 2010. Bassist/violinist Jonah Durning-Hammond joined the band following his move from the Delta in 2012. The particular combo of the friendly foursome has proven to produce just the right combination of dirty blues licks, occasional pop hooks and a taste of 70s rock reminiscent of Big Brother and the Holding Company. They aint afraid to get down and dirty while keeping a sense of humor, ie free form bowling with sloppy joes. The release of their debut double sided digital single "24" [selfproduced at Pancake Studios] is a well awaited peak into things to come.

The Morrow
We're a little bit biased, if you can't already tell, but if you're hankering for some Alternative/Indie Rock The Morrow consists of our own Alex and Jonathan with the great Dan Morrow and Gabby Sherba. We sometimes play shows together and sometimes just dance awkwardly at each others. Check them out! They are very handsome.
